Our favorite company for self-guided tours is Maui Mountain Cruisers. Their rides are almost to the ocean to the town of Pa‘ia. They shuttle you up the mountain and you cruise back down at your own pace, while they stay nearby in the van to assist at any point.

Pineapple has been a Hawaiian staple for over a century, with the state once being the largest commercial producer globally. Maui Gold Pineapple has been in operation for about 25 years. Tours of their fields and packing facility are available, offering a fascinating and tasty experience.

Maui Chocolate Tour: Guided Farm Tour

Maui Ku‘ia Chocolate Estate in Lahaina offers an in-depth 1.5-hour tasting tour, showing the process from bean to bar, including beverage pairings and a gift card. Their group lessons last 1.5 hours, but for a more personalized experience, they offer semi-private and one-on-one lessons. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking to learn or improve their surfing skills.

Kapalua Ziplines: 6-Line Course

Kapalua Ziplines’ location is one of the biggest selling points for their tour, with sweeping views and cool features such as the 360-foot suspension bridge. Two people can zip beside each other on all six lines of their course.
